About the Event
FREE WELLNESS WORKSHOP DURING BPD AWARENESS WEEK & MENTAL HEALTH MONTH
Lived Experience Driven & DBT Inspired:
This event is designed & being run by someone who lives with BPD for others living with BPD. However, this is open to anyone & everyone.
Inspired by DBT Skills & Mindfulness practices, this event is an opportunity to connect with other like minded people while also bringing along a family member/friend or two.
What to Expect:
The event has been designed to suit all ages, levels & personality types. Like all of Deep Seas' services & events, this event is judgement-free, & welcoming where you are made to feel calm, included & appreciated.
Here you will get a brief intro about BPD Awareness Week, Mental Health Month & Deep Seas.
You will also get a teaser to a DBT skill called TIPP.
PLEASE NOTE: this skill does require willingness to participate in some form of exercise & you will potentially get wet during the activity so a change of clothes or at least a towel is encouraged to be brought along.
Please know there is no right or wrong way in participating & it is dependent to each person's capacity.
After the teaser, you will also get a chance to participate in creating your own distress tolerance shaker & recieve your very own wellbeing toolkit designed & created for YOU by El.
Please bring along a bottle of water, a picnic rug or chair & your facemask.
QR Code check-in will be required.
Booking in advance is required, with a QR code check-in upon arrival.
